A fresh new decorative display face bubbling with life & spontaneity, Jabberwub belongs to a rare genus of creature fonts that type forgot—casual animated. A fun & bouncy eye-catcher dancing a whacky line between discord & rhyme, Jabberwub packs tons of fun into a state-of-the-art OpenType font loaded with 270 extra glyphs, including
stylistic alternates, discretionary ligatures, word ligatures and capitalized ligatures, allowing creative typographers to achieve a custom hand-lettered look without all the mess & spilt glue of a manual paste-up job.
Jabberwub is ideal for whatever zany stuff springs to mind. It takes an outline with no problem-o, and you can squish & squoosh it as the occasion takes your fancy. Optimal results are achieved by hand setting each individual glyph. Available in OpenType only.
Jabberwub can be viewed and test driven now at Myfonts:

Youngblood is a non-connected formal script with tall, sweeping ascenders and two alternates. These alternate forms can be mixed and matched for a custom look, and Youngblood is stronger in weight and is better suited for display work than most script fonts. Youngblood includes OpenType ending swashes, ornaments, ligatures, discretionary ligatures for most common ascender pairs and old style figures.

Here it is — not a soundbite, not an unfulfilled campaign promise — SignLanguage is a font that makes the impossible possible, a font that cuts the taxes for 95% of American families, a font that closes down Gitmo and brings our troops home from Iraq. Senator Joe “Six Pack” Biden has described SignLanguage as articulate and bright and clean — and a nice-looking font.

Michael Browers announced the release of three new fonts: Squarefill, Squarefix and Wingbrush. Squarefill and Squarefix are grunge fonts featuring Latin, Extended Latin and Cyrillic character sets. Wingbrush is a whimsical, hand-drawn brush font. For a limited time, Squarefill, Squarefix and Wingbrush are 40% off at MyFonts.com.

Outras Fontes announces the release of its new font. Hachura is an impressionist typeface designed by Ricardo Esteves Gomes. Its general proportions are based on the garalde models, with traditional roman serifs. It was initially made by hand using a drawing technique to create a font that simulates the unfinished aspect of a work in constant progress. This textured face is useful for display sizes, making a very visible presence. Because of its basic dimensions and careful distribution of black and white, it still also very readable in text sizes like 10 or 8 points.
Hachura can be quickly downloaded after purchase at MyFonts.

Kapitza is proud to announce the publication of their first book:
‘Geometric - Graphic Art and Pattern Fonts’ which has just hit the
shops! What began as a seemingly straightforward exploration of
pattern font design became an in-depth, yearlong obsession. This
labour of love resulted in a unique and substantial book featuring
original Kapitza graphic pattern art, fonts and more.
The Geometric book comes with a CD containing 100 pattern fonts - the
most extensive pattern font collection available from any foundry. It
also includes a helpful font index and easy to follow tutorials.
All this inspiration and versatility is beautifully packaged. The
book is truly vibrant – printed on heavy matte stock, it features an
embossed cover that’s wrapped in an American-style poster and bound
in a distinctive rhythm technique – making Geometric a new classic
and a keeper.

Falling somewhere between cushions and cat food, this flexible and inviting letter mixes simplicity with organic character and humor for a wide range of uses. Check out Soft Serve now at Myfonts.
